A man who Chicago Heights police say shot four people in 2009, killing one, has been charged with first-degree murder. Damien A. Hyde, 30, of 1930 Adams St., Chicago Heights, was charged Wednesday in the April 2009 shooting death of Tommy Pointer, police said. His b ail was set Thursday at $1 million.
